Ann Mazzotti Hood, D.D.S.

Dr Ann Mazzotti Hood graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  She purchased a private practice from a retiring dentist 1 year after graduating and after she was his associate for that time.  She owned the dental practice for 25 years then sold it through PARAGON.  She continues to own the dental building and leases it to the new owners. 

Dr Mazzotti Hood continues to enjoy practicing dentistry a few days per week and also teaches at the college level.  She had such a positive experience with PARAGON in her transition process that she is excited to help other dentists in their transition.  With the experience of being in private practice, owning the dental practice and the building and transitioning with PARAGON she has a very unique perspecitve in guiding dentists through this very important process.   

Dr Mazzotti Hood has 2 daughters and 1 step daughter.  Her husband is a physical education teacher and professional guitarist and singer.  They live in the Chicago suburbs. 

Dr Mazzotti Hood has been active in regional theater performing in many musicals and plays for over 20 years.  She is thrilled to be with PARAGON and is looking forward to meeting you and advising you in your transition process!!!
