Dental office sales are moving way beyond your father’s” buy and sell an office to a single dentist”. While this model does still work, this seminar will review the new trends in dental transitions.

Many dentists are buying one or more practices, staffing them with associates and specialists and owning large groups in a broad geographic market. Many times, they establish satellite locations.

More specialists no longer own their own space, but are moving around general dentist offices. The economic benefits of larger size and multiple offices are here to stay. Finally, there is increasing activity with mergers, where the dentists’ location is merged into a nearby office.

We will concentrate on the New England marketplace and review the many opportunities that now exist for the dental entrepreneur and retiring dentist alike.

Ron Linden-retired practicing dentist with a solo office in Shelton from 1980-2014. Had an occlusion based general practice for many years. Has been a lifetime member of the CSDA and was active as President of the Naugatuck Valley Dental Society and chairman of the CSDA Ethics Council. Has been a mentor to several dentists via the CSDA mentor list. Joined Tyla Permenter and Paragon Dental transitions in 2015.

Tyla Permener spent the early portion of her career working for one of the largest Real Property Investment Firms in the U.S. as an analyst and then as a Senior Investment Analyst.  Having joined Paragon 7 years ago, she has been a top producer and has helped transition practices producing well over $1.5 million and has consulted on $4.0 million dollar partnerships.  Her strong financial background is a nice fit to partner with Dr. Linden and his clinical understanding of the transition process.
